This week our spotlight turns to the beautiful state of North Carolina and shines in the CEO and artist behind Skinny Pedal Fab The one and only Jonathan Shepherd The mind and craftsman that constructed one of the slickest and meanest rock bouncers in the circuit “ Hatermaker”. Reaching the top step of the podium on its maiden voyage with ZERO seat time. Jonathan proved early on his new build would be a top contender at all future events he attended. When he’s not racing or prepping his machine. He’s hard at work in the commercial field as a specialized service technician. If he finds himself some free time to sit down and enjoy his favorite meal he’d like some pork chops and a jack n coke to wash it down. His passion for racing began long ago on the pavement. At the age of 16 he had built him self a drag car, with several others to follow. His passion for hot rods is still strong today. But by 2009 he had began to invest himself in the razor scene. Fabricating a few parts here and there. Ultimately leading up to his first custom chassis in 2013 which is when his off-road racing career began. After a few custom chassis builds he was ready to make his dream come true. Low and behold “Hatermaker” was born. Inspired by the man Jesse James. Jonathan has pushed his limits as a fabricator to produce a creative and quality product everytime he turns on the welder. Being entirely self taught, it seems his skill comes naturally out of passion. As well as his big heart that keeps him helping everyone around him with problems no matter how big or small. If he could pick a place to race over and over it would be the massive hills at Rush off-road. Be sure to follow Skinny pedal fab in here! You can catch Jonathan at all pro rock racing events in 2020.
